Benefits
Life Insurance
Basic life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance is provided for each regular full time employee at no cost to the employee. Coverage begins on the first day of the month following 60 days of employment. Policy limits are based upon job classification. Additional supplemental life insurance is available to employees at an additional cost.
Medical Insurance
Medical Insurance is offered to regular full time employees on the first of the month following sixty days of employment with a portion of the monthly premium paid by D&F. Deductions are made pretax from employees paychecks biweekly based on the level of coverage in which he/she is enrolled. Drucker & Falk currently offers 2 medical plans (HMO and POS) through United Healthcare.
Dental Insurance
Dental Insurance is offered to regular full time employees on the first of the month following sixty days of employment with a portion of the monthly premium paid by D&F. Deductions are made pretax from employees paychecks biweekly based on the level of coverage in which he/she is enrolled. Drucker & Falk currently offers 2 dental plans through Delta Dental.
401(k)
Employees must be at least 21 years of age and have completed 1 year of service and worked a minimum of 1,000 hours during the calendar year. We will have 2 open enrollments per year - January and July.
Vacation / Sick Time
Regular full time and part time employees are eligible for vacation and sick time benefits. The amount of vacation earned for regular full time employees is as follows:
- Vacation will accrue at a rate of two (2) weeks per year beginning with an employee’s hire date. At year 5, the accrual based on the hire date will increase to three (3) weeks per year, and at year 10, the accrual will increase to four (4) weeks per year.
- Part time employee’s vacation and sick benefits will accrue at half the rate of full time.
- Regular full time and part time employees of D&F who have completed 30 calendar days of continuous employment are eligible for sick leave. Full time employee’s sick leave will be limited to a total of ten (10) days per year. Of those ten (10) days twenty (20) hours may be used for personal reasons with prior approval of your supervisor. Unused sick leave will carry over into the next calendar year as disability leave for accumulation to a maximum of forty (40) days.
Long-Term Disability (LTD)
LTD is offered to regular full time employees on the first of the month following sixty days of employment. Drucker & Falk will provide an LTD policy that will assist you should you need an extended medical leave. Disability leave (not to exceed 40 business days) will be used to cover the short term disability or waiting period (90 calendar days). The LTD policy will provide benefits at 60% of base salaries.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
The EAP is a confidential program that offers counseling for you and your eligible family members. Such counseling covers subjects like stress, addictions, family or marital issues, and family finances.
Drug-Free Policy
We are reinforcing our drug-free work environment by instituting pre-employment, post accident and random drug testing.
Tuition Reimbursement
Regular full time employees may be entitled to partial or full reimbursement for job related, educational costs. These costs include tuition, books, supplies and other related costs. Written approval for reimbursement of all courses and expenses must be requested in advance.
Bereavement Leave
Employees will be allowed a maximum of 3 days off with pay in the event of the death of a spouse, child, stepchild, parent, stepparent, grandparent, brother, sister, mother-in-law, father-in-law, or an individual who maintained permanent residence with the employee.
